Save money at Dollar Stores

There are a number of Dollar stores nationwide, and if you have not tried one you are missing a great way to save a lot of money. Maybe not all the items in the store are worth buying, but with careful shopping you can find great deals. I have found the best deals are in dish soaps, paper plates, disposable cups, laundry soap, liquid hand soap, mouth rinses, dental products, shaving cream, certain hardware products, scotch type tape, party favors, school supplies, batteries, and many other disposable type products. Trial and error for products will be the final judge, but what the heck, you only made a dollar bet.

Best Fast Food deal, January 2011

Right now the best deal in fast food is the 2 buck deal at taco bell. 4 nice items to choose from, a medium drink, and a bag o chips. Right now most medium drinks are 1.50 or more, so the food and chips are 50cents. Add to this all the great salsas you can add to the food item, and the endless re-fills of soda you got a great deal.

Dinner for 3 around 2 bucks.

A great spaghetti dinner for around 2.00 for 3 people. Start with a dollar can of spaghetti sauce at most walmart's, dollar stores and other outlets. There are a few to choose from. Use del monte  or hunts brand if you can find it. Also buy a box or bag of your favorite pasta for a buck, you can find these easily. You will also need a jar of Italian seasoning from walmart, these are 50 cents each. in a pot mix the sauce, about 2 teaspoons of seasoning, 4 packs (two teaspoons of sugar)(more if you'd like), and 3/4 cup water. Simmer for about 20 minutes. The sugar helps speed up the sweetening process that usually takes hours to do. While you are doing this, in another pot bring enough water to boiling to cook half the box/bag of pasta. When the pasta is done strain and put in a 2 quart casserole, add the sauce, mix thoroughly, cover, and heat in a microwave for 6 minutes. this will thicken it up and add more flavor. when it's done you should have enough for 3 good serving of pasta, two for big eaters.That's it, around twenty minutes from start to finish, and cheap. Don't forget the Parmesan cheese.
total cost, 1dollar sauce, 50 cents pasta, 7 cents seasoning, 3 cents sugar, 15-25 cents Parmesan. Enjoy.

My Day

well i have not posted in a while, been busy and lazy and a combination of the two. life has been uneventful lately. i guess that is good to a point. work for me has been somewhat busy, and definitely low budget. had my half year physical, all is well, yeah! had a nice session with nela last weekend, always pleasant and informative for both of us, i hope. having a problem with pc#3, won't boot up. very frustrating. that's all for now folks. later.

Lazy day today. No action in the market today. All the gains were before I got up. There were no signals anyway. The only signal was a sell that would have gotten beat up big time. Work was quiet, but an ok money night. Back is hurting a bit, but not enough to stop me.

Have not posted much lately, lots of annoying things upsetting my usual routine. Car problems, market problems, etc., etc. But hopefully things will get back on a smooth path soon, and I can post more soon.

Had a nice session with Nela today. i think we both learned a lot today. no work, number 3 only 8 reservations. overall quiet day. still haunted by my bad show in yesterdays market.

got off to a shaky start today, but my first trade steadied, and came out green. i felt confident and put in a second trade. i was impatient, and got out to early, but still finished green. put in a third trade, and boy was that nerve-racking. it wiped out all my gains, and then some, but fortunately it also steadied, and i got out at break even for the third trade. should have waited for a better signal for the third trade. hope i learn from this

About today

First off, nothing day in market. just can't get it going. basically a break-even day. now my car, got check engine light fixed, but did not get the smog done, have to wait a few days.198 dollars latter. as far as the work problem goes, mgrs. don't see it my way. just have to be careful with who i work with. hate to say it, but now there are some fellow employees i just can not trust. that's all for now.

Work Today

A little busy today. weather was great. hectic pace. problem near the end of shift. a good tipper came in to order some to-go food. the person i was working with hi-jacked the customer took the order and the tip. i was the bartender today, and the bartender takes to-go orders. will have to go to the gm with this. will post later with the result.

bad day in the market

well, how do i start? i quess the best way is to admit that i find it hard to learn a lesson when it comes to trading the market. i know when a trade looks bad, or a loss goes to a certain point i should get out, but i keep making the same mistake. staying in, waiting for a recovery, and getting in deeper, waiting, getting in deeper, and then taking a big loss. i hope posting my errors to the world will do something to help me overcome this constant error in judgement. yes, i can only hope. my best advice is take the loss, and wait for a better trade, but don't let that loss put you out.

One of the better known New Year’s old wives tale says that if the first person to enter your home after the New Year is a man, you’ll have a wonderful year and you’ll be blessed by good luck. This same old wives tale says that if a woman is the first person to enter your home during the New Year, your year will be filled with bad luck.
This is another old wives tale that doesn’t seem to have any real beginning, but many people know it, and invite men over to visit before women after the New Year. Just in case! While this is probably nothing more than an old wives tale or superstition, it’s better to be safe than sorry, right? ?

First Sunday of New Year

hello blogites. i feel much better today. i had called in sick for today last night, but when i woke up this morning i felt pretty good. so i called Jaime and told him I'd work today. i think he liked that because he had arranged to have someone work for him tonight, and now he would have the full day off.
  also today i just added a few videos i created and posted on you-tube. both were new to me, and was quite gratifying to accomplish that.
